When thinking of gifts to present Bill for his retirement, nothing was as fitting as establishing an endowed fund to support social work education, knowing what scholarship support once meant to him.
Bill had this to say about his own MSW student scholarship: “I would not have been able to obtain my MSW degree without a scholarship. Like many of our current and future students, I already had a family to support at the time and had to hold down two part-time jobs while going to school. I will always remember the struggle, and want to pay it forward so others may have the same opportunity and privilege I enjoyed.”
Your gift, no matter the amount, will help us cross our fundraising finish line to endow an MSW fellowship in Bill’s name.
Thank you to all who have already supported, we appreciate you!
